I started this blog because I think some of the things/people/aspects of life I see at our local farmers' markets and flea markets need to be appreciated and commemorated! Maybe you'll agree. I guess the motto of this blog is "Cuique Suum Studium," or "to each his own enthusiasm" (like the better known saying "A chacun a son gout")...
I should have started this earlier in the year - we're in that mid-period of winter where Seattle's weather gives us glimmers of hope, like a little bit of sun, and then dashes it with rain, wind and cold. So, the dog coats weren't plentiful this past weekend, and people weren't sure how to dress - frigid weather? wet weather? springtime? Dare we think spring is around the corner?
