Short But Sweet

This week's theme seemed to be Big Dog vs. Little Dog, but then I realized it was just that there are usually so many little dogs, which makes the occasional big dog really pop in contrast. Also, some cool cowboy rain boots and this one woman with the greatest suede three-tone boots--in this weather, talk about throwing caution to the wind! Unfortunately, you need a magnifying glass to see them in the pic. And then I spied some Beatle boots, bringing it all back to....New Wave.

Beware the Ides of March

It was a miserable day. Rain, cold, snow, and then the wind kicked up, and we had to close up early. So, hardly any pictures. But some brave souls and their parents showed up to show their fashionable raingear. I'm glad they made it.

This is like the Hermes of dog coats, don't you think? So elegant.

I love the jaunty yellow, but I think he just wanted to go home.

He was a sweet puppy, wondering 'why are we outside?' Yes, indeed.

Cold, But Happy

Today was (once again) nippy, but the sun came out for a while, which helped. It was crowded, as people wanted to grab some sun while they could, and show off their fashionable dogs (or fashionable selves). The best sign that spring is around the corner: the bits of color on people and dogs, like future spring flowers getting ready to burst. All right, spring - let's go! Andiamo! Andale!

Move that car!

Unfortunately, this Sunday's market day was foreshortened due to a car parked in our stall location until two hours after normal set up. So not many shots today. It was also dismal weather, some of our stall neighbors got hassled by the Man, just not the greatest day.
