One Week Ago

I think it was Flag Day, but I didn't see any flags...So this is from last week. This past Sunday, which was Father's Day (Happy Father's Day), we went to Vashon! - except I forgot my camera. Of course the weather was beautiful, lots of cute dogs, a fun day - but no pictures. Oh, well...

However, this past week was nice. Again, a short posting, but still full of sweet faces - take a look!

Here's a laughing dog...what a happy face!

This little guy was so relaxed! We all had a good laugh at how mellow he was...

Here's another "babe in arms"...

Here's that first dachshund again - I think her name is Saba...

Here are some sweet faces...

Dogs kissing...the one on the left is Market regular, Buddy!
Two cute little girls, love the gingham!

This is Ruby, who is a very, very sweet girl...

And a sweet boy, just made for hanging out in our book stall...

Hasta la vista,

Nordy

Two Weeks Ago

(Baby Pug Alert! Sheesh, she's cute!)

Wow, I really have been falling behind! The market has been too much fun, spending a lot of time talking with folks, and therefore missing photo ops - so this post is for two weeks' worth of photos, and there is no market next Sunday due to the Summer Solstice Fair (and naked bicyclists' parade), but I think we'll be at Vashon Flea Market this Saturday - yeay! Vashon reminds me of Boulder before Boulder got expensive.

So I'll start with some pics from last week, which had better weather than this week...This is Callie, a Sheltie with a short coat to keep her cool - the cutest drink of water ever!

Just a baby!

A very fluffy dachshund mix...

Everybody pet me at once!

Double dogs everywhere...

And then, of course, only children with adorable faces...

Ok, on to this past week,

A bientot,

Nordy

A Change of Pace

This past Sunday, we were not at the Fremont Flea Market, so I had some free time to go to another market, which I love, but haven't visited since last fall, due to the schedule conflict. So I hope this gives you a good feel for another Seattle landmark, the Ballard Farmer's Market... (I love succulents!)

There were still a lot of dogs - some walking:

Some getting petted:
Some just standing around, talking to another dog, or just looking around:

And some dogs just hanging out, maybe listening to the music - lots of buskers!

I especially liked these cuties - check out the pony tail on the first black dog:

These two were tied up, but didn't seem to mind - they were very sweet...

Some more pics of the buskers:

A great dress, and a way cool car (1969 Camaro 307!)...

Two booths that-oh, you decide:

And my two favorite shots -quintessential Seattle, but also quintessential dog and dad love:

Hasta la semana proxima,
Nordy

Short But Sweet

It's been a while since I've written - sorry - just got too busy, but now here is what happened the week after Mother's Day. It's a little short, but it was still an exciting, sunny day - that counts for Exciting in Seattle!

This little girl was short AND sweet..

Here are two stay cool, but look fantastic outfits, in completely separate color schemes - one blue and silver, the other muted yellow and purple - just great!

Maybe it was just me, but a lot of white dogs this Sunday - cute, round and white:

And some silent, but dignified good souls like these sweethearts:

And some blue, BLUE eyes:

And then, this melt-your-heart sweet puppy - lots of love here!

A la prochaine,
Nordy
